IDEA CATEGORY FOR PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS
The IDEA category of the Tervatynnyri Pitch Competition offers individuals the opportunity to present their inventive business ideas. You have until the end of October to develop and submit your own idea. Use this time to prepare and finalize your pitch.
The competition’s preliminary jury will select the finalists at the beginning of November, and they will get to present their ideas to the panel and audience on November 28, 2024, at the Tervatynnyri Pitch Competition final event. This is an excellent opportunity to receive feedback, learn pitching skills, and network with other innovative people. The winner of the Idea category receives a cash prize of 1000 euros!

CARTIA PÖNTIÖ, VIEXPO
Carita works as an export advisor at the cooperative Viexpo, where she assists companies with issues related to export and internationalization.
HANNA TÖLLI, CENTRIA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES
Hanna Tölli works as an RDI coordinator at Centria University of Applied Sciences in the chemistry and bioeconomy team. Tölli’s main tasks are related to corporate responsibility and circular economy RDI projects. She is the leader of the responsible business development research group. Hanna has previously been involved in developing and taking a new medical product from university research to commercial markets, giving her strong experience in the business world, financing, product and production development, as well as personnel management.
SAMI VILJANEN, KOSEK
Sami has been working as a business developer at KOSEK for over 10 years. The job includes new business consulting and the extensive development of existing companies. He has a technical-commercial background and has previously successfully worked as an entrepreneur in the staffing industry and e-commerce. Before that, he made a career in industry and IT.
Noora pajala, YritysKannus Oy
Noora works as a business developer at YritysKannus Oy, helping new entrepreneurs get started and companies at various stages. She has been an entrepreneur since 2015, initially in a brick-and-mortar store and now as a real estate agent.
TOMAS LUOMA, Kaustisen seutukunta
Tomas works as a business developer, whose main task is to connect local companies with players in the renewable energy sector. He also has experience in construction, marketing, and teaching, as well as his own IT company.
