
IDEA CATEGORY FOR PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS
The IDEA category of the Tervatynnyri Pitch Competition offers individuals the opportunity to present their inventive business ideas.
The competition’s preliminary jury will select the finalists at the beginning of November, and they will get to present their ideas to the panel and audience on December 3rd 2026, at the Tervatynnyri Pitch Competition final event. This is an excellent opportunity to receive feedback, learn pitching skills, and network with other innovative people. The winner of the Idea category receives a cash prize of 1000 euros!

ANNELI KOMI, The Finnish Enterprise Agencies.
Anneli Komi is the CEO of The Finnish Enterprise Agencies. She has previously worked for Suomen Yrittäjät and, prior to that, was a small business owner for 14 years. Anneli is passionate about promoting entrepreneurship. She especially supports an entrepreneurial mindset and small business ownership.

Noora pajala, YritysKannus Oy
Noora works as a business developer at YritysKannus Oy, helping new entrepreneurs get started and companies at various stages. She has been an entrepreneur since 2015, initially in a brick-and-mortar store and now as a real estate agent.

Sanna Kankaanpää, The Jakobstad Region Development Company Concordia
Sanna has worked as a business advisor for the past 26 years, supporting businesses throughout their entire lifecycle. Sanna draws inspiration from converting innovative ideas into practical business solutions, and she is particularly impressed by the proactive engagement of young people in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship offers opportunities that are worth exploring and giving wings to!

TOMAS LUOMA, Kaustisen seutukunta
Tomas works as a business developer, whose main task is to connect local companies with players in the renewable energy sector. He also has experience in construction, marketing, and teaching, as well as his own IT company.
