THE MASTER CATEGORY FOR ENTREPENEURS
The MASTER category is aimed at entrepreneurs who want to showcase their innovative business ideas. There was time until the end of October to develop and submit your ideas.
The finalists of the competition were chosen at the beginning of November, and they will have the opportunity to present their ideas to the judges and the audience at the final event of the Tervatynnyri Pitch Competition on December 3rd 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to receive valuable feedback, network with industry professionals, and take their business to the next level. The winner of the Master category is awarded a cash prize of 5000 euros!

Roni back, the finnish youtube superstar
Roni Back is a responsible influencer whose current videos resonate with both younger and older audiences. In 2019, he was included in Kauppalehti Option’s list of “35 people who are changing the world.” Roni has also appeared on several television programs, in addition to YouTube, such as Leijonan luola Suomi.
paula erkkilä, Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce
Dr. Paula Erkkilä is the CEO of the Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce, drawing inspiration from the expertise of over a thousand companies in the region. She is widely connected across various sectors of business and society. Advocacy, leadership, and communication have consistently played a central role throughout her career.
LASSE MÄKYNEN, OP LÄNSIRANNIKKO
Lasse holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration and has worked in the banking sector for a total of 24 years, including 18 years in corporate finance. In his current role as Bank Director, he is responsible for corporate banking operations at OP Länsirannikko.
VILLE URPILAINEN, PIXAN OY
Ville has 20 years of diverse experience in the financial sector, both in Finland and internationally. He is an investor in several growth companies and is actively involved on the boards of a few businesses. In his main role, Ville works as the CFO of Pixan Oy. Ville is a Tervatynnyri veteran. He has been a member of the competition jury since its founding.
PATRIK ÖSTERÅKER, BOTNIA VENTURES
Patrik Österåker is an investor and entrepreneur based in Vaasa. Throughout his career, he has worked in a wide range of roles, from programming to positions as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as in board work and investing. He aims to provide experience-based insights to both individuals and companies. Patrik is an active angel investor and partner in the emerging Botnia Ventures. In addition, he serves as Chairman of Next Level Growth, whose goal is to act as a regional and independent driver of startup activity.
