THE TERVATYNNYRI PITCHING COMPETITION WILL IGNITE THE FLAME OF CREATIVITY AGAIN IN FALL 2024!
The Tervatynnyri pitching competition once again invites entrepreneurs, students, and all idea-rich individuals to develop and showcase their innovative business ideas. The competition aims to encourage entrepreneurship and help new products and services find their way to the market.

TERVATYNNYRI has cemented its position.
The inspiring and thought-provoking Tervatynnyri pitching competition has found its place among entrepreneurs and innovators. The competition also offers a great opportunity for students to reflect on their own ideas, receive feedback, and practice pitching.
The finals event of the open and free pitching competition will be held in Kokkola, but we hope to receive ideas from all around Finland!
The competition culminates in the final held in November!
Tervatynnyri pitching competition will be held for the fifth time in the fall of 2024. Despite being in the realm of business, Tervatynnyri is a warm-hearted, feel-good competition and networking event.
Strong background forces
The competition has been organized by Centria University of Applied Sciences, Kokkola Region Development Company KOSEK, Viexpo, Kaustinen Region and Enterprise Kannus, as well as numerous cooperation partners from the Central Ostrobothnia business community.
MASTER- AND IDEA-CATEGORIES
Two categories STRONG AS TAR
Since 2023, the Tervatynnyri pitching competition has been competed in two categories. In 2024, these categories were given new names: the MASTER category aimed at entrepreneurs and the IDEA category aimed at individuals.
Participation is easy – ideas for both series are submitted electronically through the Tervatynnyri.fi website. Ideas can be submitted throughout the entire month of October!
The preliminary jury will review all submitted ideas at the beginning of November.
The Tervatynnyri pitching competition culminates in the final, which will be held on 28th November 2024 at the Amfi of Centria University of Applied Sciences.
