Tervatynnyri 2025 – bring your ideas forward, now it’s your turn

Entrepreneurship is one of the best ways to influence your own life and the society around you. New ideas, solutions, and bold experiments are born when they are given space – and that is exactly what the Tervatynnyri competition encourages.

Registration for the competition is open from September 1 to October 31, 2025.
Both entrepreneurs and teams with early-stage business ideas, as well as those who have already started developing their business, are welcome to participate.
Registration takes place on the website tervatynnyri.fi (you will find the links at the bottom of this page).

Here’s how the Tervatynnyri competition works:

  1. Register for the competition
Fill out the application on the competition website by October 31. The application is simple – you only need to provide basic information about your idea or business.
  2. A preliminary jury selects the finalists
A panel of experts reviews all applications and selects finalists in both competition categories.
  3. Final day – November 28
The finalists will pitch their ideas live to the jury and audience at Centria University of Applied Sciences’ campus in Kokkola. After the pitches, the jury will select the winners – and this year, the audience will also get to vote for their favorite!

Two categories – two paths forward

The IDEA category is aimed at those who have an interesting business idea but no finalized business plan yet. The jury consists of local business advisors who offer practical support during the early development phase.

The MASTER category is for those who have already started developing their business and want to take it to the next level with the support of an experienced jury.
