The Tervatynnyri Pitch Competition is a great opportunity for innovative minds to showcase their own solutions and development proposals. The competition consists of two different categories, which were introduced for the first time in the fall of 2023. These categories provide an excellent framework for both more developed projects and ideas that are still in the early stages of development.
Master category for more refined solutions
The Master category is aimed at participants whose projects and ideas are already more advanced. The aim of this category is to highlight solutions that have already been tested and developed, which only require minor finishing touches or coaching before entering the market, or they may already be on the market but need assistance to move forward. The ideas participating in the master category receive valuable feedback from experts and can benefit from the networking opportunities provided by the competition. This category is the perfect place for those who already have a strong vision and are ready to take the next steps.
Idea category for the initial ideas
The idea category has been developed to support innovations that are still in their early stages. The purpose of this series is to provide space for new ideas and concepts that need additional guidance and inspiration to move forward. The Idea category is an excellent opportunity for those who seek feedback to develop their ideas and want to find networks that can help them take their projects to the next level. This category particularly emphasizes the potential of ideas and provides participants with tools and contacts to help them advance their thoughts.
With the help of these two categories, Tervatynnyri aims to highlight diverse solutions and ideas from different stages of development. The competition not only rewards ready-made solutions but also encourages fresh and innovative ideas that can grow into larger projects in the future.
The coordinator’s perspective
As a writer and competition coordinator, I firmly believe that anyone can be an entrepreneur as long as they receive the right kind of help and support. The purpose of the Master and Idea categories is to provide participants with exactly these resources – feedback, coaching, and valuable networks. I want to encourage everyone who has a dream or an idea to seize the opportunity and take advantage of the possibilities offered by the competition. Entrepreneurship can be within everyone’s reach, as long as there are the right support systems in place.
